Images showing Microscopic findings of 74 % lymphocytes along with smudge cells and atypical lymphocytes. Lymphocytes were small with condensed chromatin having a soccer ball or a cracked earth appearance. Cytoplasm was scant.

Flow cytometry : Cd45/side scatter plot showed 75 %cell events in lymphocyte window. Of these gated cells,78 % were positive for CD19 & show following expression of markers : CD5 positive moderate, CD20 positive moderate, CD23 positive moderate, CD200 positive moderate. CD19/CD5 co-expression was seen in 95% of these cells. This was suggestive of B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia (B-CLL)
