•       15-year-old boy Presented with fever on and off and loss of appetite.

O/E

•       Splenomegaly ++

•       Hepatomegaly+

•       CBC findings-Hb-10gm/dl, TLC-92x10^9,   Platelets-2.7x10^9

•       Elsewhere diagnosed as acute leukemia

•       Peripheral smear findings showed large blastoid cells with moderate amount of basophilic cytoplasm.

•       Flowcytometry was consistent with hepatosplenic gamma delta T cell lymphoma/leukemia.

•       Cytogenetics showed trisomy 8 along with signal pattern of chromosome 7 showing evidence of isochromosome 7q in 98% of cells.
